Alex and the Devils is the first digital game developed by The Rise of the N4verending Shadows team. It was developed throughout a period of 2 days during the SPJam event in 2013. The game is a sidescroller endless runner built in Unity and showcased here in its PC version for the web (WebGL), but there is also a mobile version (Android).
In this game, the player incarnates Alex during its debut as a character. Alex is an ungendered individual known for its angelic blonde curls and shirtless figure, while he runs away from a horde of devils in an eeriee setting resembling the depths of hell. During the run, Alex reveals that there is more to this than meets the eye, giving a few clues about its own true purposes and setting the stage for an ominous plot twist.
